The Book of Ruth...

As I come to the end of the pre-editing stage of book 3, I am struck by the intense storyline and the abrupt turning point in the

novella book series.

Book 3 of my Southern Serial provides some BIG answers to existing plots while dropping clues of introduction to brand new stories. This is going to be fun.

As I have told readers for months, if a character is going to be nicknamed Ruthless, there has to be a backstory, and there certainly is. In fact, this book will follow Mayor Ruth Blakely through 60 years' worth of her story.

I can't wait for readers to experience characters familiar and new in the 1960s South, in 1970s Atlanta, and modern-day Tennyson County, Georgia.

I often hear, "I don't really know what to make of Ruth. One minute, I love her, the next I am shocked by her." Well, I am not sure that this book will clear up those internal conflicts.

Ruth Blakely is Noeware, Georgia's keeper of secrets, and that sure can provide a lot of fun drama.
